Nationally, Kappa Delta was founded on October 23, 1897 at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia. Kappa Delta first came to Towson’s campus in 1992 and our chapter, Zeta Mu, was chartered in November of that year. We are a group of women, strong leaders, and amazing sisters who are always "striving for that which is honorable, beautiful and highest" in all that we do.
In Spring 2018 we placed 1st in Greek Week and 2nd in Greek Sing! We also won Chapter of the Year for the 2017-2018 school year, an award we have received numerous times in years prior. We were also ranked Silver in Fall 2018 by the Chapter Assessment Program (CAP). This ranking focuses on our involvement on campus, specifically in Panhellenic events.
Kappa Delta women pride themselves on being well-rounded women who succeed academically while remaining involved in a myriad of things on campus. Our chapter held the highest GPA in Fall 2016 and since then has continually maintained one of the highest GPAs on campus, with an overall GPA of 3.27 as of Fall 2018.
We have an incredibly strong sisterhood allowing sisters to gain life long friends, support systems, adventure buddies, and SISTERS!
